I like to read, to write, to think, and to dream. I like to talk and to listen, to see the sunrise in the morning, to see the moonlight at night; I like to feel the music flowing on my face and smell the wind coming from the ocean. I like to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind and to do thought experiment when I cannot sleep in the middle of the night. I like to sleep early, I like to get up late; I like to be alone, I like to be surrounded by people. I like country’s peace and the province’s noise; I like the beautiful seas, the delicious foods and comfortable shoes; I like good books and romantic movies. I like the land and the nature, I like people. And, I like to laugh.
I always wanted to be a great painter, like Leonardo da Vinci's who painted “Mona Lisa", or like Roman Roland who wrote "John Christopher". They have influenced millions of people through their books. I also wanted to be a great psychologist, like William James or Sigmund Freud, who could read people’s mind. Of course, I am nowhere close to these people, yet. I am just someone who does some teaching, some research, and some writing. But my dream is still alive.
SCHOOL
When I was 5 years old I attended kindergarten one at Saint Andrew School in Lapu-Lapu City. After a year, they let me took an exam and I accelerated to grade one and continued until grade two. I liked there, but my mother wanted me to try something new, so I transferred to Lapu-Lapu City Central Elementary School. I finished grade six there and graduated. After that, I enrolled at Pusok National High School and after four years I had my second graduation.
I don’t know what degree should I’ll take so I listened to my mother’s advice and went to Cebu Normal University and took the entrance exam. I picked BA Filipino among all but it was not opened that time so I became a BSEd (Bachelor of Secondary Education) Filipino. for the third time, after four years of pressure, I graduated .
Now, I am taking up my Masters Degree in FLT (Filipino Language Teaching) and hoping to finish soon.
I love music. For me, any kind of music will do as long as it has sense. When I was in elementary I used to be a lyrist of our school. Later, I had played ukulele but was not good at it. During my high school years I tried practicing to play a guitar and I learned to play few songs. These days I wanted to focus on playing piano, though we only have a keyboard, still they both have keys.
Art is my hobby and somehow it relaxes me. I like doing egg shell mosaics, mobiles, soap carving, diorama and many things. I like to draw anime and portraits, but what I am good at is at painting and coloring things, especially nature. I do oil pastel painting, mural painting, water color painting and oil painting. During high school years I took some painting lessons and had developed my talent. Every day, after doing my home work, I paint and draw different things, such as, nature, still life and cartoons. Whenever I cannot sleep at night I just hold a brush and imagine.
